    Digital Detoxes are so great. I went for a long hike with friends this morning and it was so great to connect and be in nature. I left my phone at home when I went to my son's hockey game and just focussed on the game & chatted with the other parents. I always leave my phone downstairs when I'm heading up to bed and try to have no screen time from 9pm onward. It's not always easy or perfect, but our minds need the rest.

    It was challenging but I set my phone aside, put the Apple Watch on the charger and stayed away from my Computer.  I was jonesing to get an update (the dopamine need was strong) for the first hour.  Then I started to settle.  I went for a walk, spent time talking with people in my house and felt quite clear in my thinking.  
    Will do it again!

    I'm not a huge cell phone person so leaving it at home when I'm walking is something I am used to. I'd much rather look at the trees and listen to the songs of nature than the dings on my phone. When I'm home at night, I'd rather talk to a friend or read a book, then watch tv. I think I was born in the wrong era lol
